Hi Tim, it would in fact not be easier to start again on Mars or the Moon. The solutions are very simple, as we know it is the lack of political will and those with the guns and the money that are blocking real change. I realize how unlikely revolutionary change is, sure. I’m not prepared to say for certain what is or isn’t going to happen, unlike you, who seems so certain.

I agree that we have to prepare for what’s coming, and that it will probably be very bad.

It could be Hawking and Musk see something. Or, it could be the heavy doses of pessimism, nihilism, escapism, and despair they have imbibed from the toxic mainstream culture they’ve chosen to identify with, to varying degrees, Musk far more so.
